We Engage as a community. Believers are called to do the work of the ministry. (Eph 4) One of the ways we use to equip people to do the work of the ministry is to facilitate opportunities to practice ministry. As we develop our community around our culture, we will be adding to specific opportunities to this page as examples.
Engage groups, also commonly known as Chavurah Groups, use everyday activities or commonalities to build smaller communities where we learn to help each other by ministering to one another and fellowship together. Each of these groups supports the overall vision at Rosh Pina by focusing on different things. For instance, our rock climbing group uses the medium rock climbing to build community and minister to each other while enjoying an exciting activity. Some days we just go climbing, some days we workout and some days we get into deep conversations and prayer for each other before or after climbing.
Although there are some activities like specific kinds of counseling or prayer for others, that only members or believers can do, to be part of a group, you don’t need to be a member of Rosh Pina. You don’t need to be a believer in Yeshua. One thing you do need to know is that it is Yeshua is the reason for our existence as a congregation and the existence of the Engage Group. This means that while we may do an activity that draws us together, that activity is ultimately centered around Yeshua.
